Brandon Carter, a member of the Sevananda kitchen staff has been diagnosed with cancer. In December 2012 Sevananda employees established a special fund called the SevTNet, to help fellow employees in times of need. However, those funds will not be ready for distribution until early February 2013, and in the meantime, Brandon is facing financial challenges due to the cost of medical treatments. Therefore, Sevananda has established a Special Contribution Fund through BOND Credit Union so that people can make contributions to help defray the costs of his medical treatment.
Member-owners may contribute to this fund in-store at the register. Sevananda employees may also contribute at the register and through Sevananda’s Human Resource Desk by completing a PTO Contribution Form for Brandon Carter. Any individual who has a PayPal account can make a contribution via PayPal to SevStaffFund@Sevananda.coop.
